THE THIRD MEETING OF THE BUSINESS DISCUSSION CLUB “KOSTANDOV”
On June 10, 2021, the next meeting of the business discussion club "KOSTANDOV" was held.
The event was organized by the information and analytical magazine "CHEMICAL EXPERT", the REATORG company became a partner.
The main topics of the discussion part of the meeting were "Ways of state support for chemical and pharmaceutical industries" and "Ecology of production".
The meeting was attended by Dmitry Borisov (General Director of “POLYSAN” LTD), Zakhar Golant (Head of the Department of Regulatory Relations and Good Practices of the Saint Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia), Victor Dmitriev (General Director of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers), Viktor Ivanov (President of the Russian Union of Chemists), Irina Kashirina (Director for Support of Foreign Economic Activity and Customs Administration of Russian Export Center JSC), Galina Kim (General Director of “PIK-PHARMA” LLC), Alexander Malin (CEO of "Ingal" LLC), Alexey Nesterov (General Director of "Perm Chemical Company” LLC), Artyom Oganov (Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Valery Petrosyan (Academician, Honored Professor of Moscow State University), Alexander Pshenichny (General Director of “Polisintez” LLC), Vladimir Savchuk (Director of Federal State Unitary Enterprise" STC "Himvest"), Alexander Semenov (President the company "Active Component") and others.
In his welcoming speech, the moderator of the event, CEO of REATORG company, Georgy Khachiyan summed up the results of the previous meetings of the Club, and also gave his assessment of the most important events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum held in early June that have an impact on the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Within the framework of the discussion part, the Club members discussed the effectiveness of various ways of state support for chemical and pharmaceutical industries; highlighted specific cases for their selection, design and implementation; assessed the possibilities and potential of real exports of domestic chemical and pharmaceutical products, the investment attractiveness of full-cycle pharmaceutical production and the production of necessary intermediates, reagents for pharmaceuticals by micro- and low-tonnage chemistry enterprises, discussed the problems of chemical safety, ecology of production facilities and the degree of their influence on the organization of new and modernization of existing enterprises.
A traditional gala dinner and a concert of blues music completed the event.

Business Discussion Club "KOSTANDOV" is a new format of business events in the chemical and related industries, designed to provide the most comfortable and relaxed environment for effective and unbiased discussion of the most pressing and important issues of the industry.
The club is named in honor of the outstanding Soviet political and statesman Leonid Arkadyevich Kostandov, the Minister of the Chemical Industry of the USSR, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR - the person with whom the creation of the chemical industry in the country and the making of the USSR a world leader in this field is associated. The Club's mission is to revive traditions and promote the development of the chemical industry for the benefit of the prosperity of Russia and our people!
