REATORG sponsored Andrianov conference "Organosilicon compounds. Synthesis, properties, application"

The REATORG company sponsored the XIV Andrianov conference "Organosilicon compounds. Synthesis, properties, application" which was held on June 3-6, 2018 at the A.N. Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds of RAS (Moscow, Russia).

The purpose of the conference was the discussion of the most current problems, tendencies and prospects for further development of new methods for synthesis of organosilicon monomers, oligomer and polymers as well as acquaintance with modern methods of the analysis of their structure and properties.

Particular attention was paid to questions of innovative manufacturing technologies of silicones. Including technologies based on use of renewable raw materials. Such processes demand radical reorganization of all production cycle with a reference point on use of progressive approaches since a stage of synthesis of the basic monomers and finishing with extension of organosilicon products nomenclature.

The conference made it possible to familiarize a wide range of specialists with the latest research in the field of organosilicon compounds in Russia and abroad, assess the state of organosilicon science in our country and in the world.
