REATORG BECAME A PARTNER OF THE FIRST SCHOOL – CONFERENCE ON MEDICAL CHEMISTRY FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS "MEDCHEMSCHOOL-2021"

From 4 to 9 July 2021, the First All-Russian School for Young Scientists in Medicinal Chemistry "MEDCHEMSCHOOL-2021" was held at the Novosibirsk Academgorodok.

The school was attended by 220 people from 20 cities of Russia and the CIS countries, some of whom attended remotely.

The school was organized by the Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry named after N.N. Vorozhtsov SB RAS; Novosibirsk State University, V.Zelman Institute of Medicine and Psychology; Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Medical Chemistry"; D.I. Mendeleev Russian Chemical Community, section "Medical Chemistry"; Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Chemistry; HealthNet NTI Infrastructure Center.

At the grand opening of the school, the participants and lecturers were greeted by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Corresponding Member of the RAS Nariman Faridovich Salakhutdinov, Chairman of the SB RAS Academician of the RAS Valentin Nikolaevich Parmon, Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Problems of Novosibirsk State University, Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Corresponding Member of the RAS Andrei Georgievich Pokrovsky and Director of the NIOCh SB RAS Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Elena G. Bagryanskaya. The first lecture was delivered by the Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valery Nikolaevich Charushin on the topic "Medical chemistry is the most important direction of organic synthesis."

During six days of the school, the participants studied medical chemistry in all its manifestations, shared their experience. Thanks to a well-structured program, each of the sessions was devoted to one of the key aspects of medicinal chemistry, which made it possible to fully delve into the topic. At the end of each day, there was a lively discussion going beyond the time frame during the poster sessions. 27 plenary lectures, 95 oral presentations and 60 poster presentations were presented.

Development Director of the REATORG company Pavel Mynkin made a presentation "Reliability and quality in the implementation of modern integrated solutions for laboratories and industries."

At the closing ceremony, many participants shared their impressions of the school, wishes and expressed the hope that the School will become traditional. The jury members noted 22 best reports, the authors of which were awarded with diplomas, valuable and memorable gifts from the school's partners. The awarding ceremony was conducted by Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Nariman Faridovich Salakhutdinov and Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Konstantin Petrovich Volcho.
