REATORG BECAME A PARTNER OF THE CONFERENCE "POLYCONDENSATION PROCESSES AND POLYMERS»

From 18 to 20 February 2019, the first Korsakov all-Russian conference "Polycondensation processes and polymers" was held in the conference hall of INEOS RAS.

Korshakov readings were held at INEOS RAS since 1996. During this time, they have established themselves as a highly professional platform where they discussed the latest news and advances in the field of polymer chemistry. The participation of leading scientists from various scientific centers of the Russian Federation and foreign colleagues allowed us to constantly expand the range of issues addressed at these meetings, traditionally held at the beginning of the year.

Polycondensation refers to one of the three main methods for the synthesis of high-molecular compounds, which is used in the production of industrial polymeric materials of a wide profile: engineering plastics, coatings, adhesives, films and fibers.

The first Korshakov Conference covered a wide range of problems that are in the field of view of scientists and specialists dealing with the problems of chemistry and technology of condensation polymers, including:
• new monomers and methods for the synthesis of condensation polymers;
• structure, properties and processing of condensation polymers;
• fibers, binders, coatings, structural plastics and composite materials;
• multiscale modeling and prediction of the properties of polymers and composite materials.
