Installation of equipment

The price and scope of process equipment installation includes the cost of assembly and installation in the final position of process, electric power, materials handling, general purpose, electrical and other types of equipment, as listed below:
  • if required, disassembly (pre-assembly inspection) into assembly units (elements) for flushing and wiping with subsequent reassembly. Equipment supplied with manufacturer's tamper seal or sealed and gas-filled equipment is not subject to disassembly (inspection);
  • removing preservation grease, wrappings, protective coatings, flushing, parts visual inspection and lubrication;
  • pre-assembly of machines, equipment, vessels (from transportable assembly units that do not require adjustment operations during installation) in order to ensure maximum scale-up of assembly units within the limits of capacity and range of lifting means available;
  • assembly of equipment that is supplied in dismantled condition, with lubrication, installation of gaskets and adjustment, fixing to the finished foundation, platform or housing as specified on assembly drawings;
  • installation of metal structures, pipelines, valves, blowers, pumps, feeders, mixers, electric drives (mechanical part), on/off and control valves, prefabricated guards of movable parts, centralized oil lubrication systems included into the machines design;
  • installation of equipment after pre-assembly, as well as equipment supplied in the assembled condition, its levelling and fixing to the ready base, adjustment and installation of movable part guards;
  • assembly of automatic and process lines out of individual equipment assembly units;
  • filling with oil, lubricants and coolant mixtures;
  • hydraulic, pneumatic and other tests of equipment;
  • individual trial runs in idle mode and, if required, under load;
  • installation of equipment connections to water, air, steam, coolants;
  • laying, pulling and mounting of electric cables and communication and radio wires;
  • mounting and installation of maintenance platforms, stairs and other auxiliary metal structures that are physically connected to equipment;
  • insulation, painting of equipment and process pipelines installed in the final position with agreed colors;
  • application of corrosion protection coating on equipment; additional expenses incurred when carrying out installation work in the winter period:
  • electric protection of underground pipeline and metal structures against leakage-current corrosion.
