SECOND MEETING OF THE BUSINESS DISCUSSION CLUB "KOSTANDOV"

In March 2021, the second meeting of the Business Discussion Club "KOSTANDOV" was held.

The event was organized by the information and analytical magazine "CHEMICAL EXPERT", the REATORG company became a partner.

The main topics of the discussion part of the meeting were "Difficulties in the production of vaccines" and "Cross-sectoral integration. Domestic and Foreign Experience ".

The relevance of the topics led to the interest and participation in the discussion of the heads of the largest Russian specialized companies, universities and representatives of the scientific community.

The meeting was attended by Irina Vendilo (CEO of the ROSKHIMREAKTIV Association), Ivan Glushkov (Deputy General Director of Immunotechnologii LLC), Dmitry Zemskov (Executive Director of Biochemist JSC), Maria Ivanova (Vice President of the Russian Union of Chemists), Galina Kim (CEO of PIK-PHARMA LLC), Alexander Kuchin (Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, FGBUN FITS Komi Scientific Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Artem Oganov (Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Valery Petrosyan (Academician, Honored Professor of Moscow State University), Pavel Pikula (Director of the Rostov plant for the production of API JSC "R-Pharm"), Alexander Pshenichny (CEO of Polisintez LLC), Alexander Semenov (president of the company "Active Component"), Anna Shcherbina (vice-rector of the D.Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia) and others.

CEO of REATORG Georgy Khachiyan, who acted as a co-moderator of the event, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. In his address, he presented the 1st issue of the information and analytical journal "CHEMICAL EXPERT", dedicated to the interaction of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the production of API and raw materials for them, the points of contact between science and industrial practice.

As part of the discussion part, the participants discussed issues and "bottlenecks" of technology transfer to domestic and foreign sites for the production of vaccines against COVID-19, the supply of raw materials and equipment, the introduction of the latest US sanctions; experience and prospects for improving the mechanisms of intersectoral integration, the role of the state; problems of chemical safety and ecology; training and motivation of specialized specialists.

A gala dinner and a jazz music concert, which has already become traditional, completed the event.

Business Discussion Club "KOSTANDOV" is a new format of business events in the chemical and related industries, designed to provide the most comfortable and relaxed environment for effective and unbiased discussion of the most pressing and important issues of the industry.

The club is named in honor of the outstanding Soviet political and statesman Leonid Arkadyevich Kostandov, the Minister of the Chemical Industry of the USSR, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR - the person with whom the creation of the chemical industry in the country and the making of the USSR a world leader in this field is associated. The Club's mission is to revive traditions and promote the development of the chemical industry for the benefit of the prosperity of Russia and our people!
