REATORG took part in the Forum BIOTEKHMED-2019

REATORG CEO Georgy Khachiyan acted as a speaker in the panel session of the BIOTECHMED Forum - “Production of active pharmaceutical substances as a vector for the development of the pharmaceutical industry for the next 10-15 years”.

The 4th annual biotechnology forum BIOTECHMED, which took place in Gelendzhik on September 16-17, became the main platform for discussing pressing issues of the biomedical industry, issues of implementing the national “Healthcare” project, and a dialogue between the state and business that will determine its further development. The event combined the capabilities of both a scientific forum in terms of expert exchange of views and the exposition space.

The achievements of Russian scientists were appreciated by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, the Minister of Health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova, the Governor of the Krasnodar region Veniamin Kondratyev, the CEO of Rostec Sergey Chemezov, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Director of the Department for the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Alexey Alekhin.



The forum was attended by over 1,600 delegates from 70 regions of Russia and 31 countries. In total, 30 open events and 2 closed meetings were held as part of the business program, in which more than 200 speakers took part. The forum was attended by delegates from Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Israel, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, the UAE, Paraguay, Turkey, France, Switzerland, South Africa and other countries.

“The production of active pharmaceutical substances as a vector for the development of the Pharmaceutical industry for the next 10-15 years” has become one of the key topics of the Forum.

During the session, the participants discussed issues and problems of various stages of the organization of production of pharmaceutical substances: from design to the provision of equipment and raw materials; what knowledge and skills designers and technologists must have in order for production to be cost-effective and safe; positively evaluated the cooperation of the state and business on the example of the implementation of R&D results in mass production.

The session was moderated by Alexander Mazhuga, Rector of the Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.
