For a quarter of a century, the Pharmtech & Ingredients exhibition has been a leading industry event, presenting modern solutions for technical equipment of the domestic pharmaceutical industry, promoting the introduction of advanced technologies, increasing the competitiveness of the pharmaceutical industry and disseminating business partnership mechanisms for all participants in the international, Russian and EAEU markets.

In 2022, according to the results of the All-Russian ranking of exhibitions, Pharmtech & Ingredients was recognized as the “Best exhibition in Russia on the topic “Pharmaceutics” in all categories. This year the exposition of the 25th Anniversary Exhibition will be even larger.

EXHIBITION

More than 400 companies from 14 countries – Russia, Belarus, Germany, Italy, India, China, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Jordan and other countries – confirmed their participation in 2023. The total exhibition area will be more than 8900 sq.m. for the first time since 2020. Particularly noteworthy is the rapid growth of the “Ingredients” sector by 2.6 times compared to last year: from 741 sq.m. up to 1960 sq.m. exhibition area.

Russian and international manufacturers and suppliers will present new equipment and talk about achievements over the past year:

To achieve technological sovereignty in the pharmaceutical industry, it is necessary to develop the development and production of our own innovative drugs. It is planned to involve educational institutions that have an effective research base for the development of R&D in solving this problem. Responding in a timely manner to the needs of the industry, the Pharmtech & Ingredients exhibition presents this year’s debutant - the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education, First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. Sechenov University offers services for the pharmaceutical development of dosage forms, the synthesis of active pharmaceutical substances, and services for preclinical and clinical studies of drugs being developed.

Keno Pharma (China) will present Chinese analogues of European pharmaceutical products: raw materials, substances, chemistry, high-tech equipment and devices. Chinese factories specializing in the production of capsules, packaging film, heparin, reagents and serums were invited to the company’s stand. This is a unique opportunity to interact directly with manufacturers.

REATORG (Russia) will present a new product on the Russian market of equipment for rectification - an installation of highly efficient rotary rectification AGT ERBD. Also at the stand will be presented immersive technologies (VR, AR, MR) and their practical application in the design of pharmaceutical production facilities and personnel training.

Active Component JSC (Russia), one of the leading manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in Russia, traditionally takes part in the exhibition. The company has been successfully operating in the pharmaceutical market for more than 15 years, constantly increasing the number of its own unique developments. Analytical and laboratory equipment will be presented at the Gluvex (Russia) stand, including the outstanding development of the HTA company - a multifunctional autosampler for gas chromatographs. The HT2800T autosampler is one of the manufacturer’s new products, created to automate analyzes of any complexity and increase the productivity of laboratories; it is used for automated sample introduction into gas chromatographs.

At the stand of ROLSTECH (Russia) this year, equipment for labeling bottles, ampoules/cartridges, a marking machine for packs, and a labeling system (leafer) will be presented. All presented machines can be seen in action and assembled directly at the exhibition in the required configuration in accordance with customer requirements.

The ROSKHIMREAKTIV Association will take part in the business program of the exhibition, and will also present a collective stand of Russian manufacturers and suppliers of small-scale chemicals and laboratory equipment. At the collective stand you will be able to see the products of companies that are members of the Association. Among the new products is a Russian Spectrophotometer for laboratories with a xenon lamp (modern technology that increases the accuracy of measurements and increases service life). BUSINESS PROGRAM

The Pharmtech & Ingredients 2023 exhibition will be accompanied by a three-day business program. Representatives of the professional community and industry experts will discuss current challenges and opportunities.

On the first day of the exhibition there will be a plenary session “Regulatory system and innovation. How to ensure the development of the innovative potential of the Russian pharmaceutical industry", during which heads of specialized associations, industry experts and representatives of pharmaceutical companies will exchange views on the issues of providing the healthcare system with innovative medicines and the effectiveness of government support measures at all stages of the life cycle of the development of innovative medicines. The session will be moderated by Irina Novikova, CEO of GxP News, co-organizer of the session.

The business program will be continued by the round table “Full cycle of API production. Road map". The full cycle of API production involves the creation of a full-fledged chain of manufacturers of all components, chemicals of varying complexity, from solvents to intermediates, the development of chemical engineering production, and training of personnel for all stages. Now this is all in its infancy. The “GxP-Profi” competition is held by the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices together with the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the support of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The competition provides an opportunity for pharmaceutical companies to demonstrate their achievements in the field of innovation, receive independent assessment from industry experts and contribute to the development of the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
